World No.14 Jennifer Brady suffered an unfortunate injury during her third-round match against Coco Gauff at the French Open 2021. As a result, she couldn’t complete the match and retired a set into the clash. She was a set down when she decided to withdraw from the French Open 2021.

Jennifer Brady was not fully fit even before the French Open 2021. She suffered from a foot injury at the Italian Open 2021 and it appears that the bruise didn’t recover completely before arriving in Paris.

In a recent interview, she revealed that she was not able to move freely after her injury got worsened up after yesterday’s match. She also highlighted that she couldn’t really focus on her game during her match against Gauff.
“I woke up and it was just worse. I couldn’t really play my game and I was moving about 20%,” said Brady in the interview.
Brady has actually been suffering from Plantar fasciitis for a long time. It is actually an inflammation of a thick band of tissue that connects the heel bone to the toes.

Brady began the season on a high as she ended up as the runner-up of the Australian Open 2021. She played amazingly well at the Grand Slam but lost to Naomi Osaka in the finals.

However, after that, Brady hasn’t been up to the mark. She hasn’t played a single quarter-final match after her brilliant show in Melbourne and is definitely out of form. On clay as well, she has got starts but has been unable to convert them into titles.
Fans hope that Jennifer Brady recovers soon so that she can return to the court as soon as possible. They still have huge expectations from the American and want her to deliver some more exceptional performances this season. Will Brady be able to make an incredible comeback on the tour?
