Pegula turned 30 on 24th February 2024. She celebrated her completion of three decades in life but returned to tennis soon. She recently entered the singles and the doubles competition in the San Diego Open. However, instead of Coco Gauff, she chose to partner up with Desirae Krawczyk. In their opening-round clash, the two managed to defeat Shuko Aoyama and Wu Fang-hsien

The match went to three sets as the scoreboard read 4-6, 6-3, 10-2 at the end. A fan account shared the video of Pegula’s win on their ‘X’ page. In the video, Pegula wrote, “Dirty 30’s here I come 😈”. Pegula’s enthusiasm will help her move ahead in her 30s as she aims to win more titles than what she won in 2023. The daughter of the Buffalo Bills owner is ready to take on all the competition coming her way.

As Pegula aims to go ahead in the sport in her 30s, another American star is preparing to end her stint with the sport. Danielle Collins recently announced that she would be hanging up her racket after 2023.
