She suggested that coming into the tournament as the defending champion is not at all an easy task but she managed to surprise everyone and clinch the title.

“I have got to go with Sabalenka. With her history and how she won the tournament so beautifully last year but also how she has progressed in the final. A lot of pressure on the player who is defending her championship, Love the way her game has looked Love the way her mind has looked as well. I think she wins in straights,” said Davenport while revealing Sabalenka as her favorite.

Thus, Aryna Sabalenka was suggested as the winner of the final of the Australian Open by both Lindsay Davenport and Jim Courier. However, it will now be interesting to see how their prediction unfolds.

While these two legends of the game pulled out their opinion, another tennis legend, Ana Ivanovic also joined the charts as she came ahead and made her own prediction.
