Naomi Osaka and her boyfriend Cordae recently welcomed their daughter Shai into the world a few days ago. However, the four-time Grand Slam champion could not wait longer to get herself back where she belongs: on the tennis court. Emulating what Serena Williams did after giving birth to Olympia five years ago, Osaka has taken it one notch up to show her love for the sport.

The Japanese tennis star disclosed the news of her pregnancy in January after withdrawing from the Australian Open. However, no one expected her to be back this soon.

Incidentally, both the players had their first kids as daughters. Moreover, the WTA stars could not be happier after bringing their children into their world. However, both tennis stars could not forget their first love, tennis.

Hence, Naomi Osaka is back in court only after fifteen days of giving birth to Shai. This is something Serena Williams did as well, making a comeback just after three months of giving birth to Olympia.

With Osaka, the tennis realm had assumed that it would take way much longer than fifteen days to get back on the court. However, that is not true as she has proved her love for the sport by showing the world her grueling training routine. The arduous training just after nine days of giving birth to Shai, the tennis realm is in awe of the Japanese tennis star.

A similar awe-struck moment was noted back in 2018. Serena Williams made her comeback only after three months of giving birth to Olympia. Maybe she would have come back sooner, had it not been the life-threatening childbirth.

Apart from these two tennis stars, we saw Elina Svitolina putting up an amazing performance at Wimbledon where she took down world no. 1 Iga Swiatek. Moreover, she did it after making a comeback after six months of giving birth to her daughter, Skai.

Osaka, however, has come back sooner on the court than any other WTA player after giving birth. This is something she had reiterated even after giving birth to her daughter.
