Tunisian tennis maestro, Ons Jabeur, understands this more than most. As with any athlete, injuries can significantly setback their careers. In a recent candid conversation, Jabeur disclosed the details of her rehabilitation process.

The current World No.7  had to withdraw from the Miami Open in March due to an injury to her wrist. Now that she has recovered, Jabeur has been tirelessly sweating it out to get back to her peak, with an eye on the Rome Masters.

Ons Jabeur shares details about her rehab journey

Jabeur’s rehab journey was not a smooth one. Nonetheless, she remained active and gave priority to honing her physical prowess. She also devoted significant time to mental training to ready herself for future obstacles. In a recent interview, Jabeur shared about her journey and how she dealt with the daily adversities that came with it. She revealed that she tried to stay active and keep her physical level perfect. The tennis ace did a lot of rehabs and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy to speed up the healing process. She also invested a lot of time in mental training to prepare herself mentally for the challenges ahead.

However, amidst the stress of rehab, Jabeur found a unique way to cope with it all – by kicking her husband in the face! Jabeur is now gearing up for a successful stint at the Rome Masters 2023, and her fans are eagerly waiting to see her back on the court.

Jabeur recently spoke out about the recent controversy

Following the Madrid Open, which concluded recently with some fantastic performances by young tennis players, there were a few controversial incidents that marred the event. One of the most prominent ones was the criticism leveled by Coco Gauff. The tournament’s double finalist voiced out at the organizers for not allowing her and her partner Jessica Pegula to speak during the trophy ceremony. Jabeur opened up about the issue on Twitter.

Gauff’s criticism sparked a social media storm, with many players voicing their support for her. One of them was Ons Jabeur, who took to Twitter to express her disappointment with the situation. Jabeur wrote that it was unfortunate that Gauff and Pegula were not given a chance to address the crowd and that such behavior was unacceptable. Many other players joined Jabeur in criticizing the Madrid Open organizers for their actions.
