23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams has been a massive inspiration for women, in the world of sports and otherwise. Tennis would not be the same as it is today without her. Hence, as the legend turned 40-years-old today, she received wishes from all around the world. American television and social media personality Kim Kardashian also wished the tennis queen on her birthday.

On this joyous occasion, Kim uploaded pictures with her friend Serena on her Instagram stories. In one photo, the two are sipping from teacups, and the other shows them wearing party outfits.

Kardashian wrote, “Happy Birthday, Serena Williams. Love you always!!!!”

Even from a young age, Serena had what it took to become a legend. However, her journey was far from easy as she faced numerous adversities in her professional and personal life. But she kept coming back, more resilient than ever. At 40, she still inhibits all the graciousness and the hunger to do her best on the court.

Tennis society wishes Serena Williams on her 40th birthday

All four Grand Slam tournaments sent their wishes to the living legend on Twitter. They even shared Serena’s most famous moments, victory speeches on this special day.

Australian Open shared all the speeches and wrote, “Living her best life Down Under.”

The French Open went with a picture of Serena competing at the revered clay-court tournament. It captioned it, “40 – heart emoji (love). Happy 40th birthday to our 3-time champion, Serena Williams.”

Afterwards, the only grass-court Grand Slam event, the Wimbledon Championships, shared a collage of her notable sporting achievements. Wimbledon wrote, “Memories upon memories upon memories. The incomparable Serena Williams turns 40 today.”

Lastly, the US Open uploaded a video on YouTube of the newly 40-year-old’s 40 great moments of their tournament. “Legend status – 100 number emoji. Celebrate 40 years of Serena Williams by taking a look back at her 40 greatest US Open moments,” it captioned the video on Twitter.
