Largely Occupied Even at 43 years, Venus Williams Throws Light Onto Her Unwinding Routine To ‘Reset’ Herself For Yet Another Day

Venus Williams has inspired millions of people around the world to work hard for their dreams. When she is on the court or pursuing her off-court endeavors, she gets her grind on. When she is with her friends and family, she becomes the goofiest partnering with her younger sister, Serena Williams. Apart from that, Williams makes sure to recuperate from all the tiredness in a rather quite unique way, which may not go with her fun-loving personality.

Venus was quite busy with her, both on and off-court, endeavors. However, she made up for that in an elaborate YouTube video where she answered all her fans’ queries. One of them was about her self-care routine.

How does the goofy Venus Williams pamper herself? 

The seven-time Grand Slam champion usually has a very tight-packed routine. No matter where she is, she never misses out on her training. But that also means that she needs to unwind at the end of the day.

For that, she has a rather unique way of relaxing which might not be expected from the tennis legend. In a recent YouTube video where she answered all her fans’ queries, she talked about her self-care routine. She stated, “One thing I do for self-care that no one would guess for me is alone time.”

This is imperative for her because of her extremely busy schedule. Williams added, “Every day is very crazy for me, so at the end of the day I need that time to just like chill and reset myself for the next day.” In her alone time, the 43-year-old seeks comfort in her favorite source of entertainment: movies.

She stated, “I love movies and then I end up watching the ones that I’ve watched. I’ve watched the same stuff over and over again.” To find solace and comfort in doing things that might seem monotonous for others is comforting for Williams. She stated, “I think it’s because I’m also doing something else at the same time, but it’s very relaxing for me.”

When she relaxes at home, she gears herself for her training and off-court endeavors. But that does not mean she is a homebody. Because at the end of the day, Venus Williams knows how to have fun like no one else.

So, when Alexis Ohanian pranked Serena Williams by going for a classic reveal by cake, Venus also fell into the trap. In the YouTube video, one could see Venus Williams jumping in excitement as she waited to see the color of the cake.

In the end, it turned out to be a baby girl revealed through a firework display. Venus might enjoy her solace and single life, but as an aunt, she knows she has to be the best!
