TV Shows adapted from video games have poor reception by almost everyone. The Last of Us recently received a TV Show adaptation by HBO. It is one of the most critically acclaimed video games of all time and people expected the show to be the same. So far, people have divisive opinions. Some love the show while others don’t. But almost all viewers agree that the acting in the show is great.

Rennae Stubbs, the last coach of Serena Williams, is especially infatuated with Bella Ramsey’s acting in the show.

Rennae Stubbs started coaching Serena Williams in mid-2022. She was her coach for her final Grand Slam contest. Prior to working with the younger Williams sister, Stubbs had worked with Samantha Stosur with whom she won the 2021 US Open doubles. Stubbs also trained Geni Bouchard. While working with her, Bouchard increased her ranking from 330 to 120 in the WTA.

Serena Williams’ coach likes Bella Ramsey

Rennae Stubbs is an active social media user. She recently made a tweet about the HBO show ‘The Last of Us’. Stubbs falls on the side of the people who love the show and wrote on her Twitter to show support for it and the actors. She said that Bella Ramsey, who plays Ellie on the show, is one of the best actors she had seen in a long time.

“@BellaRamsey might be one of the best actors i have seen in a LONGGGGGG TIME! She is so good on #LastOfUsHBO it’s insane!” he said.

Earlier, Stubbs also had something to say about Serena’s appearance in an alcohol commercial. It seems he has a knack for spotting good direction or cinematography apart from correcting tennis players’ style of play.

In another instance of reacting to a piece of film direction, Stubbs once talked about Serena Williams’ liquor advertisement. Several celebrities were vocal about their thoughts on the commercial. Even her old coach couldn’t hold back her reactions. The Australian said that Serena was enjoying her retirement by ‘pumping herself full of alcohol’.

She also said that she found the advertisement a bit weird. She reasoned that since Williams was holding a bottle of liquor in one shot, and then it cuts to her coaching., it might’ve sent the wrong message. Williams should have changed the order of the act, Stubbs said. He felt the order of the shots should have been such that, Williams should have enjoyed her bottle of liquor after a hard day of coaching.

Stubbs enjoys several aspects of  films and television and voices her thoughts about them frequently.
