Romanian tennis star Simona Halep is one of the best tennis players going around. The 30 years recently suffered from a long injury that might have ended her career. But the 30 years old defied all odds to make a comeback and has been slowly looking to regain her old form. Yesterday, the 19th-ranked player won her first-round game against 18-year-old Nastasja Schunk from Germany. She won the first set 6-4 but shockingly, lost the second set 6-1. However, she recovered strongly to win the third set and the match.

On many occasions, Halep has credited her current coach Patrick Mouratoglou for her comeback. She seems to gel well with the Frenchman, who has previously coached legendary player Serena Williams. It was the first victory at Grand Slam for the 30-years old after partnering with her new coach. After the game, speaking in her on-court interview, the Romanian made a cheeky reference to the Frenchman.
