Serena Williams’ husband and the co-founder of the social media platform Reddit, Alexis Ohanian, is a sports enthusiast. He follows a variety of games such as tennis, golf, and F1. In fact, Ohanian actively invests in these sports as well. His recent investment was in Angel City FC, a Los Angeles-based women’s football club.

Ohanian is a father, a businessman, and a husband. Even so, he spares time for his liking. Currently, Ohanian is in Miami and is enjoying the beauty of speed.

The American entrepreneur has travelled to Miami to be a part of this year’s Miami Grand Prix with a player to support in mind. Alexis is cheering for Lewis Hamilton, the Formula One driver for Mercedes who has won a joint-record seven World Drivers’ Championship titles. On 7th May, Lewis secured the sixth grid, to which a hopeful Alexis wrote, “6th let’s get it tomorrow.” As the Brit will compete for the first position the following day.

Hamilton has won six Grand Prix in the united states and holds the record for most wins, pole position, and podium finishes.

Lewis Hamilton recently spoke about partnering with Serena Williams to buy Chelsea FC. He said, “We did speak about it. We’ve spoken multiple times. Serena and I are very close, so we’re constantly in touch. She’s a phenomenal athlete and woman. We spoke about it, she asked me what my thoughts on it.” Further, the 23 times Grand Slam champion and the seven times world champion have declared an investment of 10 million euros each.

Speaking of sports related investments, Angel city FC, co-owned by Serena, made its debut in this year’s summer league. The women’s football club came into existence in the year 2021 under Serena Williams, Alexis Ohanian, Natalie Portman and other investors’ name.
