‘Like Olympia and Her Mama’ – Alexis Ohanian Proudly Flaunts Custom-Made Merchandise During Serena Williams’ Final Match at US Open 2022

American tennis superstar Serena Williams has ended her career. The 40-year-old was playing in the US Open and made it to the third round of the tournament. However, she could not go past the Australian tennis star Ajla Tomljanović. While Serena played her third-round match, the Arthur Ashe stadium was on its feet, and unsurprisingly, Serena’s husband Alexis Ohanian was also there.

The 39-year-old was rallying behind his wife from the stands. As the Reddit cofounder caught the camera’s attention, his unique t-shirt became a talking point. Later, the French Open official Twitter account also tweeted about it. Here’s how Ohanian replied.

Alexis Ohanian replies to a unique request

Alexis Ohanian was cheering for his wife, Serena Williams, with a t-shirt, having an image of his daughter Olympia. His picture went viral and the French Open official account on Twitter demanded a similar t-shirt.

“NEED that shirt,” the post said. Later, the 39-year-old replied with a tweet. “It’s a 1 of 1 like Olympia and her mama,” he wrote.

Venus and Serena Williams lose in the doubles first round

Apart from singles, the Williams sisters also played in women’s doubles. Earlier the pair took a wildcard entry to the last Grand Slam of the year. While Serena had a run to the third-round in singles, the sister duo could not go past the first round. Playing against the Czech duo of Linda Nosková and Lucie Hradecká, the Williams sisters suffered a straight-set defeat.

As Serena retires now, it would probably be the last time we get to witness the two of them together. The legendary sisters end their career in doubles with a wonderful record.
