Fans are quite aware of the cute relationship between Serena Williams and Olympia. Ever since Williams became a mother, she has made sure to spend enough time with her daughter. It recently became very evident that Olympia has become an increasingly integral element of Williams’ daily routine.

As the tennis queen, Serena has quite a busy schedule. However, she makes sure she doesn’t leave Olympia behind even when she is attending her meetings.

“There are the Zoom calls where there are 20 eyeballs on Serena. And, she’ll slide some nail polish over to Olympia so she can paint her nails while Serena very coolly answers a question about an opportunity,” said Chidinma Asonye, COO of S by Serena in a recent interview.

One could thus imagine how precious Olympia is for Serena after all the time she devotes to taking care of her. Tennis is definitely one of the priorities for the 23-time Grand Slam winner, but she also understands her responsibility as a mother.

Olympia often becomes the boss taking charge of Serena’s meetings

During pre-pandemic times, the 3-year-old Olympia used to attend almost every meeting with her mother. She is still a regular guest at Serena’s investment committee meetings.

Jill Smoller, Williams’s longtime agent at WME Sports, also shared an intriguing tale about Olympia. He revealed that in one of the meetings with Nike, Olympia had the center chair and sat there as if she was the boss. “Like she was the CEO,” said Jill Smoller with a laugh.

The bond between the mother and daughter is surely one of the strongest and sweetest ones. Serena has posted about Olympia’s first tennis lessons and puts up a post on Instagram every time her daughter does something extraordinary. The two complement each other and are surely one of the favorite mother-daughter duos for fans.

As far as tennis is concerned, fans will watch Serena Williams back on the court at the Australian Open 2021. Will Serena be able to lift her 24th Grand Slam title there?
