In a recent conversation with Uninterrupted, she revealed her admiration towards the 23 time grand slam champion, Serena Williams.

In a recent chat with Uninterrupted, Naomi Osaka talked about how idolizes Serena Williams and has always been an inspiration for her. Osaka said, “If I you know I were to retire from tennis, I would went people to remember me with like how I acted towards people and like how I interacted”. She further added, “Serena. Her legacy is more than her being Serena. Like I started playing because of her. I’m sure there’s so many other girls that started playing because of her. She literally built champions.”

Osaka said the 23-time grand slam winner has inspired a lot of young tennis girls out there. She also stressed on the legacy of Serena Williams. The Japanese prodigy wants people to remember her like Williams’ legacy.
