‘Liv Golf’ Denouncer Martina Navratilova Fully Backs a New Project From the Legendary Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy

Martina Navratilova was at the top of her game in the 70s and 80s. After her retirement from tennis, Navratilova turned commentator for BBC, giving her valuable insights into the game. Additionally, she regularly talks about various other issues prevalent in society. Recently, she reacted to the new venture by golfing superstars.
The 80s was a golden era for American tennis that saw players such as Chris Evert and Navratilova turning into legends of the sport. The two dominated women’s tennis during that period and often found each other on the opposite ends of the court in the finals of big tournaments.

Navratilova, who is a strong critic of the LIV Golf Series, backed the new venture. She took to Twitter and said, “Also known as mens golf!”

Further, the legendary tennis player has often lashed out against the LIV Golf Series. On many occasions, she has criticized the Saudi-backed tournament and its CEO, Greg Norman.

Talking about his latest venture, Tiger Woods said, “I am excited to work with TMRW Sports in bringing people more access to sports.”

Further, he went on to add, “So many athletes, entertainers and people I meet from all walks of life share our passion for sports, but they also share our desire to build a better future for the next generation of sports fans.”
Serena Williams joins Navratilova in a special list
Recently, the 23-time Grand Slam champion played at the National Bank Open in Toronto. She recorded her first singles victory since her comeback at that tournament. By doing so, Serena joined Navratilova in an exclusive list of players recording wins after turning 40. She is just the fourth player after Martina Navratilova, Kimito Date, and Venus Williams to do so.

Serena will play the final tournament of her professional career next week at the US Open.
