Maria Sharapova has established herself as one of the best tennis players in the world. After retiring from her glorious tennis career, the player recently announced the birth of her newborn, Theodore, with her fiance Alexander Gilkes.

The player is now starting a new journey and is on the path of acing her motherhood. Sharapova took to her Instagram to make an adorable comparison with a bear.

Maria Sharapova took to her Instagram story to make an adorable comparison of her son Theo with an adorable bear. The bear in the video seems to be rolling on his back, an act usually taken up by infants too. She captioned the adorable video and stated, “Live scenes of Theo in his swaddle.”

Former world no. 1 is now busy mastering her role as a mother. Stepping into the shoes of being a parent comes with huge responsibilities. This is something that the player is acquainted with.
How did Sharapova grow up as a kid?
She herself was a very young child when she came to the USA with her father to pursue her dreams. Moreover, she had to leave her mother behind in Serbia in the initial years. Practicing along with such responsibilities made the player a resilient one.

Her arch-rival Serena Williams is also a mother to a beautiful daughter named Olympia Ohanian. However, Serena Williams is still active on the circuit and had recently competed in the Wimbledon 2022. Though she could not get past the first round at Wimbledon there, she is motivated for the US Open.

She has confirmed her participation at the Cincinnati Masters and also at the National Bank Open in Toronto. Following this, she will try to clinch her 24th grand slam title at the US Open.
