Alexis Ohanian revisits his young days

Yesterday, Alexis Ohanian took to his Instagram, posting a long list of different cities he wanted to visit on his first backpack trip. The list consisted of cities all around the European continent. It was a handwritten list, written by Alexis during his college days.

Giving a brief about the list, Ohanian asserted that he had made this list after his first year of college. He also confessed that he saved money by sacrificing a long list of things. Going further, he ended by admitting that this list had a profound impact on his life.

He captioned the post, “My dad found the list I made planning my first backpacking trip through Europe after my first year of college (summer 2002). I’d save up money working through school for these trips, making friends in hostels, living off bread and cheese most days, and lots of alone time just thinking and writing… they had a profound impact on my life. Do any of these destinations jump out at you?”
