Canadian tennis pro-Eugenie Bouchard has grown into quite the social media sensation. Extremely popular across the Internet, she puts in a lot of effort to be active on those platforms. As a result, one of the most popular tennis players of all time, she has a whopping 2.1 million followers on Instagram alone.

Recently, her followers were treated to glimpses of how Bouchard was celebrating the Super Bowl weekend. She posted a series of pictures and videos of letting her hair down at a gala. She captioned the post saying, “what better way to kick off the weekend than a #REVOLVEaroundtheworld weekend in LA with @revolve.”

The pictures and videos were from the “Homecoming Weekend”, a party organized by The h.wood Group and Revolve. For the uninitiated, the former is a hospitality and lifestyle company dealing with many upscale nightlife and restaurant venues in Los Angeles. The latter markets itself as a next-generation fashion retailer for Millennial and Gen Z consumers. Both of these companies are known for hosting and organizing massive productions in nightlife events like Art Basel and Coachella. This is the first time they organized an event on this scale ever since the pandemic.

On her night-out, the Canadian tennis star was wearing a black sequined two-piece dress, enjoying the music at the venue. Many fans commented and reacted to her post about how beautiful she was looking, with quite the smattering of heart, heart eyes, and explosion emojis.

Eugenie Bouchard has been on and off the circuit for quite some time now. Floundering in her form and consistency, the Canadian throughout her career has shown occasional sparks of brilliance.

Dealing with an injury on her shoulder since March 2021, she is yet to return to the WTA tour. Bouchard underwent surgery in June last year, and in October 2021, she provided an update about her possible return. She said, “everything is still on time, so I just need a few more weeks of intense PT and strengthening then I can finally-  5 months later on the court.”

Hoards of her fans are waiting eagerly for her return to the circuit, but the 2014 Wimbledon finalist who achieved a career-high WTA ranking of World No. 5, has fallen to No. 333 currently. Hence, fans are hoping to see a comeback from Bouchard to eventually get back into the top 10 rankings.
