Former world no.1 Naomi Osaka has had a terrible start to the 2022 season. However, she recently made great progress after reaching the Miami Open final. Before that, at the Indian Wells, the Japanese star lost in the second round and left the court in tears.

Osaka was heckled by one of the fans in the stadium. Often, we see Naomi posting powerful messages on various social media platforms about not caring about her haters. Recently, she posted another cryptic message on social media while thanking fans for their support.

Naomi Osaka posted a cryptic message as she slammed her haters  

24-year-old Japanese superstar Naomi Osaka took to Twitter and posted a perplexing message. In the first part of her message, she probably took a dig at her haters. In the latter half, she thanked her fans for staying with her. 

“Lol I just want to say if you fw me thank you. Tbh there’s probably a lot of people praying on my downfall but I don’t really feel it cause the love overpowers everything. Thank you…” Naomi wrote.

Currently, we are not sure why she posted this kind of message. However, she was probably aiming this message at those who constantly criticize her.

Naomi will make her clay court return to the Madrid Open

Meanwhile, Naomi will make her clay court return at the Madrid Open. Interestingly, this is the first time she will be playing a clay-court event event since withdrawing from the French Open last year. Moreover, her form kind of went downhill after that withdrawal as she  missed Wimbledon Championships immediately.

Because of her poor form, she suffered a massive ranking loss before the Sunshine Double. After a great showing at the Miami Open, Osaka gained points and is currently ranked 36th in the WTA rankings. The Japanese icon received a wild card to participate at the upcoming Madrid Open.
