Her last elite level match was also at the Wimbledon, where she lost in the first round. In her match against Aliaksandra Sasnovich, she had to retire midway into the first set because of a right hamstring injury. It was an emotional match for her because she was aiming for her historic 24th Grand Slam.
We sure hope that she can make a proper comeback this year, even though she has had no match practice so far!
