People adore Serena Williams’ family. The 23-time Grand Slam champion married Alexis Ohanian in 2017, and they have constantly surprised each other with unique gifts. It’s the little things they do for each other that overwhelm fans. For example, recently, on the occasion of their five-year anniversary, Ohanian gifted Williams a unique and precious present.

The co-founder of Reddit is very active on social media platforms and enjoys keeping fans updated about his family’s activities.

To share his happiness and reveal his present for Williams, he wrote a tweeted, “Adora & Maximus. The new 5 Year Anniversary Gift tradition is a puppy.”

Thereafter, Ohanian disclosed, “That’s just a fact; I got her a Good Boy.” As a response to this, fans flooded the comment section. “Best possible ‘gift'”, one wrote.

Another mentioned, “Aw, love to see the family growing.” Maximus is five months old and is the fourth pet dog in the Ohanian household. The cofounder of Reddit adopted Adora earlier and Serena also has two dogs.

Speaking of Ohanian and Williams’ story. The American tennis legend crossed paths with her soulmate in Rome in 2015. The power couple, who tied the knot in 2017, recently celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary.

Despite being a very special occasion, the couple chose to celebrate in a modest yet romantic manner. Ohanian decorated their home in red roses and had arranged for a quite, low-key dinner with his wife. They also had some surprise visitors during the celebration, in her sister Venus and mother, Oracene Price.

The 41-year-old retired star has always been close to her pets. She even mourned the death of her dog Lauerlei. She wrote a note about how much she appreciated her company and how she will live forever in her memories.

Further, other than her late pet, she owns a Jack Russell Terrier and a Yorkshire terrier. She has named the former Jackie after the famous singer Mariah Carey’s dog and the latter Christopher “Chip” Rafael Nadal after the Spanish tennis legend. Chip has his own Instagram account with over 13000 followers and sometimes accompanies Williams on her tours. He, after Lauerlei’s death, traveled alongside her to one of her practice session before US Open.
