‘Make My Husband Work Tonight’- Ons Jabeur’s Unintentional Cheekiness Erupts Melbourne Crowd as They Cheer Hard After Her Thrilling Victory at 2023 Australian Open

Tunisian tennis player Ons Jabeur has proved her mettle on the WTA over the past couple of years and quickly moved to the top of singles rankings in no time. While she is yet to win a Grand Slam title, with each major tournament, she is only improving her winning chances by producing back-to-back stellar performances.

At the on-going Australian Open, Jabeur was made to work hard in her opening round bout by Tamara Zidansek. While things looked troubling for Jabeur at the end of two sets, the Tunisian bounced back in stellar fashion to completely dominate the final set and move to the round of 64, where she will meet the winner of Alison Riske vs Marketa Vondrousova.

Ons Jabeur instantly clarifies after making a cheeky statement post hard-fought Australian Open victory

During the on-court interview post a tough match, Jabeur was in her usual happy spirit as she casually chatted about the contest and as the attention shifter towards recovery, the Tunisian star decided to have some fun with the Rod Laver Arena crowd.

Asked about her usual process after a physically taxing match like that, Jabeur said, “Yeah ice bath and I’m gonna make my husband work tonight so I will have a lot of massage and good recovery.”

Jabeur’s statement leaves fans in splits as a huge roar was heard post her statement. Within no time, Jabeur decided to give more clarity to the crowd and continued, “Massage guys, Massage. For those who don’t know, my husband is also my fitness coach and does everything for me.”

Who is Ons Jabeur’s husband?

Karim Kamoun, a Russian-Tunisian fencer, has represented Tunisia in several international competitions. Karim and Jabeur got hitched in 2015 after dating for a couple of years.

Having represented Tunisia in fencing, Karim also worked as a fencing coach in Qatar and later left that gig to join Jabeur’s entourage as a fitness trainer. Even his Instagram bio reads that he is “crazy about fitness training.”
