Serena Williams isn’t all about tennis. Although she dedicated most of her life to the sport, the 23-time Grand Slam champion has a good reach in other sectors as well. She has friends in the business world and has a special interest in the entertainment industry.

Williams, who went against her father’s will to get ear piercings during her younger days, is a huge fashion enthusiast. She loves walking on the red carpet and is close to celebs such as Beyonce and Kim Kardashian. Speaking of which, she also had a little something going on with Drake.

Drake’s full investment in Serena Williams

Williams charmed the Canadian singer with her excellent form on the tour in 2011 and kind of made him a regular audience to her matches. That, in turn, later helped Drake write a courageous Tweet. Thereafter, he dedicated a verse of the song Worst Behaviour from the album Nothing was the Same to her. The lines say, “I’m with my whole set/Tennis matches at the crib/ I swear I could beat Serena when she playin’ with her left.”

Further, he was spotted cheering for Williams at 2015 Wimbledon finals. The former World no.1 defeated the Spanish tennis professional Garbiñe Muguruza in straight sets of 6-4 6-4 to clinch her sixth Wimbledon trophy that season.

However, Williams finally found her soulmate in Alexis Ohanian. They tied the knot and welcomed their daughter Olympia in the year 2017. The couple is one of the most cherished pair and fans are always invested in learning more about their cute little four-year-old.

Williams’ comeback

The seven time Wimbledon champion after keeping out of the circuit for almost a year because of a hamstring injury, made a comeback in the greens of London. She oiled her skills in doubles of Eastbourne Internation alongside Ons Jabeur and then entered the Grand Slam.
