‘Makes Me Cry for Real’- Emotional Rollercoaster for Coco Gauff As Elementary Student Give a Heartwarming Tribute to the 19-Year-Old

Coco Gauff, the American tennis player, has frequently discussed the people she looks up to as role models. But today, the 19-year-old tennis player has young fans who have been inspired by her rising success both on and off the court. Gauff has often used her voice to advocate for social issues, having stated earlier, “I always talk about issues that I don’t feel are political rights, but are human rights.” And now, at nineteen, she has become a personality who may be a fitting role model for many.

The world number six tennis player recently took to Instagram to highlight a beautiful post shared by an elementary school. Having been a while since she graduated from elementary school, Gauff was still amazed by the tribute.

Elementary school kid gives a heartfelt tribute to Coco Gauff

The 19-year-old took to Instagram to share a heartfelt anecdote. Gauff posted a video from the academy’s official Instagram page. In the video, it was demonstrated how elementary schools choose their role models for representation for the Living Museum project. A girl in the clip chose the 19-year-old tennis player as her role model to present at the museum.

The 2022 French Open finalist was seemingly overwhelmed by the girl’s response. Further, she revealed how she felt about seeing a girl dressed exactly like her. Along with that video, she wrote, “I did the same exact living museum project in elementary school and for someone to pick me. And do this as me makes me cry for real. Time Flies. This is beautiful ladies.” Further, she also mentioned how quickly time passes, since she was once a participant in the Living Museum project as well.

Not only that, but the 19-year-old previously spoke in depth about her conviction of being socially responsible and a good role model.

Gauff hopes to be a role model one day

During a press conference last year, the tennis player discussed the role that athletes play as role models. Along with that, she expressed her desire to one day be one of them. In the conversation, the tennis player talked about how she aspires to continue the legacy of her role models, Simone Biles, Venus, and Serena Williams, who have all made a name for themselves while paving the way for future generations.
