However, after her retirement, the Russian star is focused on mastering the business world while concentrating on her family. Recently, the former World No.1 welcomed her son Theodore with her fiance, Alexander Gilkes.

To celebrate the occasion, Nike gifted the whole family an adorable set of matching sneakers. Sharapova later shared the pictures of the gift on her Instagram story, thanking the company for their thoughtful gift.

Sharapova took to her Instagram story to share pictures of three pairs of adorable Nike sneakers. She wrote, “Thank you Nike fam”. The five-time Grand Slam champion often shares her new journey in motherhood through her Instagram stories.

The player gave birth to her son at the beginning of this month and four weeks after his birth; the player is back in training to keep her body fit. Even though the player retired in 2020 after leading a glorious tennis career, she continues to keep her body and mind fit by training.

Sharapova is on a new journey in her life

The former Russian player herself was merely a child when she came to the US with her father in the hopes of gaining better opportunities to play tennis. She even had to leave her mother behind in Serbia during the initial years.

However, she continued training hard under the guidance of expert coaches like Rick Macci. She tasted success pretty early in her career as she won the Wimbledon Championships in 2004 at just 17 years old. The Russian star went on to win five major titles in her career. Not just that, the player has also been a former world no.1 and was an arch-rival of 23-time grand slam champion, Serena Williams.
