The Australian Open 2021 is just inches away but fans are surely missing Maria Sharapova there. The 5-time Grand Slam champion retired at the Grand Slam last year and it was quite a disappointing moment for her fans. Although she is not in Melbourne at the moment, Sharapova is surely enjoying her time in New York City.

Maria Sharapova recently took up a Q&A session on Instagram where fans asked her some really tricky questions. One of them asked her favorite place to eat in New York City. Although the former World No.1 player revealed that the list was endless, she did come up with a specific answer.
“The list is endless but the first thing that came to mind is a 5 pm aperitif at Barpisellino,” replied Sharapova.

Sharapova even put a picture of the restaurant on her Instagram story in order to tell her special connection with the place. She certainly loves to eat there and tried to motivate her fans to go there at least once.

Maria Sharapova promotes Nike’s spring campaign in New York City
The former American player Sharapova also did a photoshoot for Nike recently and promoted their spring campaign. She dressed up in a completely black outfit and was looking completely stunning while promoting the campaign.

Sharapova has been associated with Nike for a long time now. Right now, she is having a great time in New York City only where she did the photoshoot as well. She described the campaign as something which is strong and hopeful in emotion but raw and foggy in reality.

Even though Sharapova is quite happy off the court, fans are missing her on the court. They still love her, visit her candy shops, and definitely want her to return to the court one more time. Will Sharapova ever make a comeback again and shock her fans?
