Although it has been a while and wins and losses are a part of the game, it seems like the Ukrainian hasn’t totally got over the defeat. Fans lash out at Marta Kostyuk as she snubs Coco Gauff

Marta Kostyuk recently got herself into the negative sight of the fans. While the tennis star shared her priorities in the WTA scene, she omitted Coco Gauff’s name even though the American has been on top of the game for a long time. Kostyuk said, “For me, it stays the same. Iga, Aryna, & Rybakina. I think they’re the most consistent anyways.”

As soon as the video started to gain the attention of fans on social media, they came forward to express their opinion on the situation, which of course, wasn’t in favor of the Ukrainian. A fan wrote, “Try beating Coco first,” giving Kostyuk a reminder about her AO defeat in a savage way.

The fans, besides their disappointment after hearing what the Ukrainian had to say, kept their responses firm. “oop she’s forgetting the one who beat her in Australia,” said another comment, smoothly giving a bitter taste to Kostyuk.

While it was evident that the Ukrainian held grudges for her defeat, a fan asked, “Is she jealous, resentful, or salty?” directly pointing at an angle that could clearly be seen.

The comment box turned into a presentation as a fan directly posted a video of the moment when Kostyuk came forward to shake hands with Gauff after her defeat, captioning it with a simple, “Anyways,” response.
