Elon Musk recently acquired the ownership of Twitter. Twitter is one of the elite mediums of interaction and exchange of thoughts. Martina Navratilova condemns Musk’s changes

Recently, the billionaire businessman and the mastermind behind SpaceX introduced a rule related to parodies. “Going forward, any Twitter handles engaging in impersonation without clearly specifying “parody” will be permanently suspended,” he wrote.

To which, the 18 times Grand Slam champion responded by writing, “How wimpy…” And a concerned fan warned her to be careful. But Navratilova has faced much more than a text battle and suspension of her social media account. She with confidence declared, If I get suspended or banned, I will be on Mastodon as @theMartina. But yeah, it’s rather unpredictable, isn’t it?”

The former World No 1 has been through a lot and is immune to such kind of behaviour and treatment. Her struggle in a way made her the strong and confident woman she is today.

The former World No 1 entered America as a teenager. She, like every other person of her age, was naive. However, as she was under constant inspection by the media, her behavior and lack of understanding of western culture brought her the title of the ungrateful immigrant.

Further, her muscular build also became a target. People accused her of having an unfair advantage over her petite and feminine opponents as well. In fact, they pitied Chris Evert, her biggest rival, for having to play against a person of such physique.
