She complimented the legendary footballer’s skills at the semifinal of the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Well, she is one among the scores of fans and celebrities who were mesmerized by the ‘Little Genius’.

Navratilova shared with her Twitter followers her pleasure to see the Argentine score and assist in in some crucial junctures of the match. She was impressed by Messi’s incredible assist to his teammate. The teammate elegantly converted the assist to a  goal and improved the chances of winning drastically in the match.

In the 2022 Qatar World Cup’s first semifinal match, Argentina defeated Croatia (3-0). Lionel Messi’s brilliant performance propelled Argentina to their sixth World Cup final. Messi has one final opportunity to claim the trophy. Martina Navratilova soon tweeted out her reaction to her followers.

She tweeted,” Best assist ever,..”

Even by Messi’s high standards, the 2022 Qatar World Cup semifinal against Croatia was impressive. Argentina elegantly destroyed Croatia, and Messi was the star of the show. The team will play in the World Cup final title match on Sunday.

The 35-year-old opened the scoring for Argentina from the penalty spot. Later,  he assisted Julián Alvarez’s second goal and his team’s third with an incredible individual move.

Messi once again displayed his undisputed dominance in a game. Despite everything he has accomplished throughout his career, Messi’s World Cup experience feels unique. Messi has stepped up to challenge for the Golden Boot in Qatar. He seems extremely focused in this world cup, and prepared to win it at all costs.
