Navratilova had participated in the TV reality show I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. She participated in the show to raise money for animal rights and talked about her experience in the wild.
Martina Navratilova explored the new realm of TV reality shows in a jungle
Navratilova participated in the show and came out as a runner-up from the show. Her reason for participation was for having fun and raising money for animal rights. She said, “It sounded like fun and I raised good money for Save the Rhino, which was the biggest reason.”However, the player had to confront new issues that she did not expect would be there. She said, “What I did not realize was that you had no privacy whatsoever.” Furthermore, she was taken aback by the shower settings too.
She said, “I thought you could take a shower in private, but no.” This would have held the player from being a part of the show. Navratilova, however, was glad to get the experience. She said, “If I had known what it was going to be like, I wouldn’t have done it, but I’m glad I did it. It was an interesting experience.”

The 18-time grand slam champion summarized her feeling. She said, “I felt like we were a human experiment. They try to get you pissed off and then they get good copy.”
Navratilova’s life prepared her to be bold and audacious
However, all these experiences must have felt like a fun experience for the player. She is someone who had to leave her family behind at the age of 18 to get out of her native country. She remained stateless for years before getting US citizenship. Navratilova, however, did not let her difficult situations sway her from her goal.
