Additionally, many stars from the sporting world also joined in to mourn her death. Among them was the tennis legend, Martina Navratilova.

Subsequently, Queen Elizabeth’s son, Prince Harry shared a heart-wrenching tale about his mother’s demise. He also talked about how the royal life took a toll on him and his wife, Meghan Markle, who got suicidal thoughts.

Martina Navratilova reacts to Prince Harry’s emotional tale about his family

The 65-year-old tennis legend took to Twitter to react to Prince Harry’s emotional story about his family. Talking about the video of Prince Harry narrating the story, she said, “Just brutal…”

In the video, Prince Harry narrates how the royal life took a toll on him and his wife, Meghan Markel, that led to her getting suicidal thoughts.

Further, talking about how Meghan Markle was affected by royal life, Prince Harry narrated, “Meghan decided to share with me the suicidal thoughts and the practicalities of how she was going to end her life.”

Further, he went on to add, “The scariest thing for her was her clarity of thought. She hadn’t lost it, she wasn’t crazy. She wasn’t self-medicating, be it through pills or through alcohol, she was absolutely sober, she was completely sane.”

Navratilova on Iga Swiatek’s US Open victory

In the recently concluded US Open, World Number 1, Iga Swiatek defeated Ons Jabeur in the summit clash to clinch her maiden US Open title. Further, talking about the Polish star’s triumph, Navratilova said, “You can see that Iga is on a mission. She has clarity in what she wants to do and she got it done today.”

Meanwhile, Swiatek consolidated her World Number 1 ranking on the WTA rankings chart. She leads the second-placed Jabeur by more than 5000 ranking points. Additionally, she also qualified for the WTA Finals in Texas later this year. US Open runner-up, Ons Jabeur also secured her place in the year-ending event.
