As the 40-year-old American entrepreneur is quite into parenting other than handling business and embracing women’s sports in the bigger picture, he also strongly believes that fatherhood is something that makes him a better CEO for his venture company.

Becoming a father gave Ohanian “a path to become a better CEO”

A few months ago, the Reddit co-founder revealed how fatherhood created a great positive impact on his personality as a CEO. Accepting parenthood at some point has been crucial to the way he has run his venture firm, Seven Seven Six – “Being a dad has taught me the importance of empathy in business. Kids have unique perspectives and needs, and as a parent, you have to adjust to meet them. This mindset translates directly to understanding your customers and employees.”

He further said, “Becoming a papa made me gave me a path to become a better CEO. Not every dad chooses to walk it, but the one’s who do are much more effective professionally.” Now that he has two daughters, he has continuously raised the bar of what fatherhood looks like.

Ohanian found a very similar pattern between business and parenthood in terms of adaptability. “Parenthood and business both require the ability to adapt to changing situations.
