Venus Williams reveals she’s a ‘big fan’ of Steve Young

The two legendary athletes met each other just two days before the Kansas City Chiefs defeated Young’s former team at the Super Bowl LVIII. Venus Williams not only revealed her admiration for the San Francisco 49ers legendary quarterback but also portrayed her inner competitive spirit.

Venus Williams recently gave an interview with Sports Illustrated. During the interview, she said, “I was a huge Steve Young fan. I remember when I met him when I was in my teens. I was so excited.” But shortly after recalling her fond memories with him in the past, Venu Williams’ competitive side took over her as she revealed, “I also told him my team is winning. Here’s what she had said after this historic purchase. “I am honored to be a partner in the Miami Dolphins franchise. And thankful to owner Stephen Ross for allowing Serena and I to be part of Miami Dolphins history. To have this opportunity is really where our heart is. We’re South Florida girls. When we get off the road, this is where we come home to. When we come home to Dolphins games, it’s going to be exciting,” Venus Williams.

She also spoke about the game itself, “My love of football has really grown. I’ve really gotten really attached to the sport. I think football players are the ultimate athletes.
