After the conclusion of the initial round of games, the stage is set up for some exciting round of 32 fixtures at the ongoing edition of the Miami Open. The 2-time singles Grand Slam champion Aryna Sabalenka will lock horns with her 32nd-seeded Ukrainian opponent Anhelina Kalinina at the Hard Rock Stadium.

The Belarusian tennis player is coming to the Miami Open after her round-of-16 defeat at the Indian Wells Masters, where she was knocked out by her American colleague, Emma Navarro. Aryna Sabalenka, who is the second-seeded participant in the tournament, recently breezed past her Spanish opponent, Paula Badosa, in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3, in her opening-round game.

Anhelina Kalinina, on the other hand, is now participating in this WTA 1ooo tournament after her first-round defeat at the BNP Paribas Open. Now entering the Miami Open as the 32nd seed, the Ukrainian tennis player started her campaign by prevailing in a three-set thriller against the former Grand Slam champion Caroline Wozniacki.
Sabalenka vs Kalinina: Head-to-Head
The round-of-32 match between Aryna Sabalenka and Anhelina Kalinina in Miami Gardens will also mark their first meeting on the WTA Tour. With no prior confrontations on the court between Sabalenka and Kalinina, their H2H record is currently locked at 0-0.
