It has also resulted in a massive rise in her popularity across the globe, with fans closely following her life when it doesn’t involve tennis. Along with her on-court ventures, Gauff also spends a considerable amount of time with her family and also shares glimpses of it on social media. Recently, she shared one such video that highlighted the sweet bond among siblings.

The reigning US Open champion is currently playing in the Miami Open but just ahead of her match, Coco Gauff shared a light-hearted moment with her 10-year-old brother, Cameron. The two teamed up during a training session but not for tennis; the brother-sister duo was instead playing Spikeball! Although they were on the same team, they could be seen arguing, which Gauff later highlighted.

She shared the video via a story on her official Instagram handle, saying, “If this video doesn’t describe every sibling relationship idk what does. Arguing the whole video until the end even though we are on the same team hahaha.”

Like Coco Gauff, her younger brother is also athletic and plays different sports, but his main goal is to become an NFL player in the future. Although they may argue like all siblings do, Gauff’s love for her brothers is no secret. Even her coach highlighted this fact with an interesting twist.

Gauff can’t let go of her competitive nature

There is no hiding the fact that Coco Gauff is one of the most competitive players out there. She gives hardly any breathing space to her opponents when on the court, and after all, one can’t win a Grand Slam without a competitive spirit. Her coach, Brad Gilbert mentioned this point while explaining Gauff’s love for her brothers.

He said, “You can tell she has a ton of love for her brothers and wants success for them. But I think if they’re playing a game of some sort, she wants to crush them.”

Meanwhile, Gauff will begin her Miami Open campaign later today against Nadia Podoroska. It’ll be interesting to see if she can dig deep in the tournament.
