Danielle Collins is showing great tennis at the Miami Open as she beat her quarterfinal opponent, Caroline Garcia, in a fantastic display. Notably, the American star, now in the semifinal of the tournament, has only dropped one set so far. The smile and mirth of winning, however, faded rather quickly off Collins’s face after the match.

The moment went viral on Reddit as fans shared their reaction to Collins, who went on from cheerfully smiling to deadpan stoic in the blink of a second.

Collins played Garcia in the quarterfinal of the Miami Open and did not give an inch to the French player. The bout saw the American athlete dominate, ending the match 6-3, 6-2. After the clash, Collins shook Garcia’s hand and thanked the crowd for their support by applauding them with her racket.

During the moment, she had a big smile on her face. However, this jolly body language went away in a quick second and fans at home couldn’t help but find this reaction hilarious.

The interviewer also inquired as to whether Collins’ positive consistency would continue if he chose not to retire. Collins responded that she believed such questions were often asked of her since she is a WTA player

She said, “I feel like I have had to justify my decision a lot, I feel like if I was a guy, I probably wouldn’t have to justify it that much.” Collins called foul at the fact that she had to answer questions about her retirement so often. Be that as it may, as she prepares for the semi-final, she will, perhaps, be worried more about the upcoming match than answering this question again.
