Halep’s opening match is set to be against Paula Badosa. Known for her amazing presence on the court, Badosa will surely be a hurdle in Simona Halep’s comeback journey. Even if she manages to overcome her opening match against the Spaniard, her best friend Aryna Sabalenka will be waiting for Halep, to treat her with even higher competitive levels.

As the WTA star prepares both physically as well as mentally to step back on the court after crossing a difficult road full of allegations and doubts, it still remains to be seen if she has enough strength left to kick the opponents on her way to regain momentum.
