American WTA Professional Danielle Collins shared her sad feelings while she attended the Charleston Open. Collins recently impressed her fans by winning the Miami Open tournament. Since she announced her planned retirement after the end of this season, her fans were truly intrigued to watch her win titles one more time. After her Miami Open victory, Collins flew to attend the Charleston Open and for that, she had to leave her dog with a close relative.

This American WTA Pro spoke about Quincy supporting her and watching her Miami Open matches. Now while attending the Charleston Open, Collins expressed the pain of leaving her family and traveling solo.

This American WTA star not only bagged the Miami Open Tournament title this year but she also won the first round of the ongoing Charleston Open. Post victory, Collins sat for an interview with the Tennis Channel and delved deeper into her performance, challenges, and feelings after the win. Collins mentioned her happiness but focused on speaking about her dog, Quincy. Collins mentioned Quincy being a support system to her and admitted to it being a challenge when she needs to leave her with her close friends.

This American WTA star commented- “I’m missing my baby a lot today. He’s with our family friend, keeping them company and, but I’m experiencing some sadness since he’s not here. It’s amazing. I don’t know, I thought I thought I was getting you know, him for, my like, emotional support and companion, you know companionship. I mean  I get withdrawals from this, from this little guy.”

The American WTA pro commented- “Quincy is watching, and he is tuned in, and we have videos of him watching matches and being so confused why, like, the ball and mom and why we are not there with him.”
