Olivia, and her younger brother James, share a special equation with their grandfather, Piotr, who often joins them in their exciting adventures. In her latest IG story, Wozniacki shared a clip of Olivia standing near the net while her grandfather gently threw balls for her to hit. Wozniacki’s little daughter showcased impressive skill, striking the ball with amusing precision. Following in her mother’s footsteps, Olivia showed great potential. Proudly showcasing her daughter’s talent, Wozniacki captioned the clip, “This girl means business,” with pride and admiration for her daughter.

Olivia’s passion for tennis is undeniable at this point. After Wozniacki’s 2023 US Open run, she revealed how her daughter’s love for the sport had evolved into an intense obsession. “Yesterday, I tried getting Olivia outside after she woke up, but from the moment she opened her eyes, she kept asking, ‘Mama, did you bring the tennis balls back?’ I had forgotten, but thankfully, my dad had brought some soft ones. We ended up playing in the hotel room until lunch because she wouldn’t stop. It was fascinating,” said Wozniacki, the 2024 Charleston Open winner. Wozniacki also revealed how Olivia eagerly wants to join her practice sessions. “This morning, before I headed to the court, she said, ‘Mommy, can I go with you? I want to be like you. I want to play tennis.’” Her words brought forth a young girl determined to follow in her mother’s footsteps.

Wozniacki retired from professional tour in 2020 – after which she gave brith to two babies. During a press conference for the 2024 US Open, she was asked how her motherhood is going and whether it was hard to balance it with her career goals. In her response, Wozniacki said, “Having children is a big difference. Obviously, my kids are there every day, and I appreciate that a lot. It’s the best job in the world, and I love it. I try to ensure that I remain a fully present mother while also trying to balance being the best tennis player I can be. I think that’s where it can get a bit tricky sometimes.” Her words highlighted how she never compromises with her children’s needs for her career. However, she also accepted that balancing out is no easy task and it comes with its challenges.
