In an unusual turn of events, Azarenka hit a shot that went off the court and into the stands of an adjacent court, striking a spectator in the head. While the incident was unintentional, Azarenka’s shot instantly got attention and made it to several corners of the internet and media.
However, she made sure to acknowledge what happened and shared her reaction to the same.

In the heat of the moment, she hit a powerful shot that went off-court, much to the surprise of everyone present. The ball soared across the court and into the neighboring stands, where it accidentally hit a guy in the head. Fortunately, the impact did not cause any serious injury, and the man appeared to be in good spirits despite the unexpected encounter with the tennis ball.

Owing to the same, several social media channels posted this video. To acknowledge and apologize for what happened, Victoria also reposted the video on her Instagram story along with an apology message. She wrote, “Oops! Sorry about that mate.”.
