They all geared up for the most anticipated baby “reveal” of the younger sibling of Olympia. The video clip showed three excited family members gleaming with anticipation amongst all their loved ones. Interestingly, the to-be grandfather of the new baby, Richard Williams also showed up.

This fact remains highlighted as the renowned coach and father of Venus and Serena Williams is not keeping up well. Due to that, he could not even attend Williams’ final run at the US Open last year. Nonetheless, it seems like a grandfather’s excitement is something he can not keep at bay.

One of the most celebrated coaches Williams sisters’ father graced the excited audience of the vibrant baby shower of Serena Williams. The 23-time Grand Slam champion is proudly showing, and the time has come to know if Olympia is going to get a younger sister or brother.

This excitement has led to-be grandfather Richard Williams who is currently not keeping up well due to his old age to show up. After announcing her retirement, the 81-year-old grandfather found it difficult to show up at Serena Williams’ last US Open swing last year. But this time around, he has chosen to be part of the celebration.

Adorning a green polo T-shirt, Williams beamed with happiness; a site that tennis fans are quite accustomed to after the win of his daughters. Richard Williams has always been an integral part of both of his daughters’ successes.

However, his ailing age has hindered his active participation in their careers, as we noted after his absence from Serena’s last professional tennis swing.

But the step-brother of Williams’ sister, Chavoita LeSane has broken down the reason for his deteriorating health.

A constant battle with the health of Richard Williams

The iconic tennis coach is entangled in some unwanted drama with his estranged wife, Lakeisha Graham. It is regarding his family home in Palm Beach Gardens. This consequently is not helping his health issues.

In an interview with The SUN, LeSane revealed that his father is always happy. However, because of his multiple brain strokes, he can not process things as he would like to. This eventually, is hindering his communication skills.

Nonetheless, this has not stopped the excited grandfather of Olympia from knowing who the new edition will be in the family.
