After Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, took over the reins of the social media platform, Twitter, the journey has been one hell of a roller coaster ride. Moreover, the haphazard policy changes by the company drew a lot of criticism. Amidst the growing condemnation of how the social networking service was being run, Musk announced that he will step away from his role as the CEO of the company.

Among the chorus of voices who were worried about the future of the platform was the husband of Serena Williams, Alexis Ohanian. The Reddit co-founder gave a few insights of his own about the ongoing developments. Consequently, this had many people wishing him to take up the leadership role at Twitter.

However, the dreams of such well-wishers have to take a backseat as Musk has already revealed his new selection for the coveted role. However, Alexis Ohanian has lauded the move and welcomes this much-needed step.

Alexis Ohanian hails the new leadership of Elon Musk’s owned-Twitter

The Reddit co-founder is a techie with entrepreneurial chops. So, when he saw the controversial changes happening at the company, Ohanian was worried about its downfall. Consequently, he questioned the leadership of its new owner. In an old interview, he highlighted the fact that CEOs in the future will focus more on ‘community products’.

This point of view attracted the attention of a lot of Twitter users who vouched for him to be the new CEO. However, recently Elon Musk appointed a new CEO, Linda Yaccarino who will look after the business operations of the platform.

Ohanian hailed the move and stated, “Love it. All the best @lindayacc.”

There has not been much interaction between Ohanian and Musk regarding Twitter. However, that does not mean that they have not bonded over other things.

For some, it might be quite bizarre to see Elon Musk discussing anything other than his field of expertise. However, recently, the Tesla CEO agreed with Ohanian’s dedicated and undying love for his family.

Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian once took to Twitter to describe how valuable it is to spend time with one’s family. To this, even Elon Musk agreed and commented, “Very true.”
