Serena Williams might have bid tennis her farewell, however, her fans continue to nurse hopes for her comeback. With a baby on the way, the chances are slim to see her back on the tennis court. But that does not rule out the chances of her trying out other sports. Recently, Venus and Serena Williams acquired pickleball paddles from the Jamie Foxx-owned Best Paddles. This has certified their interest in the sport.

However, the comedian and actor, who received a light-hearted warning from Serena Williams a few months ago, is not well. Fortunately, his daughter has cleared the air and has given a delightful pickleball update which will put to rest the Williams sisters’ apprehension about the Oscar-winning actor.

The renowned comedian and actor Jamie Foxx recently hit the headlines with worrying updates about his health. Although there are no clear reports regarding what happened to the actor, he was reportedly hospitalized with a serious medical emergency.

However, due to the presence of social media, the speculations about his health grew. Fortunately, his daughter, Corrine Foxx has come ahead and cleared the air regarding the rumors. She took to her Instagram story to dismiss fake news circulating about Jami Foxx’s health condition. She stated, “Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating.” She added, “In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support.”

This is good news considering that Foxx has been recovering well. Before this, it was due to Jamie Foxx’s company, ‘Best Paddles’, that the world got to know about Serena Williams’ future plans.

Previously, Foxx received a hilarious warning because Serena had been waiting for her paddles for some time.

Williams sisters were once perturbed by the late arrival of pickleball paddles 

The 23-time Grand Slam champion has established herself as the ‘Queen of the court’ in the tennis realm. After tennis legends like Andre Agassi, Michael Chang, and John McEnroe joined the pickleball league, both the Williams sisters showed interest in the sport and ordered paddles from the company backed by Jamie Foxx.

However, both Venus and Serena had to wait for their paddles for three months as their shipment arrived late. The goofy and outspoken young Williams then proceeded to send a warning message to Foxx for delaying the process.

I finally got my paddles, Jamie. It only took three months, but I finally got it. Imma tear this up, then Imma tear you up.”  Serena said.
