Williams was busy striking hard across the court during this time every year at the French Open. Serena, however, always missed exploring the city of Paris with her daughter. This year, finally after nine months of her retirement, Williams was able to do that.

After attending Beyonce’s concert, the mother-daughter duo explored the tourist destinations hand-in-hand. She shared a YouTube mini vlog consisting of clips of the time the family spent there. Riding on a carousel both Williams and Olympia sang Katy Perry’s Roar. Giving a voice-over, Williams confessed her love for the city. She stated, “So many great memories. Even with Olympia. Although she came a lot later.”

And it would not be a perfect trip for the Williams-Ohanian family if they do not get their crepes. She stated, “The land of crepes. We always have fun. I always allow myself one.” Olympia too seemed to enjoy hers.

Moreover, enjoying their goofy side, both mother-daughter showed some of their grooves in front of the Eiffel Tower. Williams stated, “Dancing. You can’t beat it. In front of the Eiffel Tower, in front of the Seine. mmmm, fun times.”

The three-time French Open champion was grateful for being able to spend time with her daughter. While riding an amusement ride, she stated, “For the first time I had an opportunity to do things and see things that I could never really do with my daughter because I’m usually at Roland Garros.”
