One of the fans asked whether the authorities gave the nine-month ban for fun.

While the other called her “Ms Roxadustat” and stated that she was never cleared. The fan completely debunked her statement and said she had a sentence/charge that was only reduced. It wasn’t overthrown or dismissed, highlighted the fan.

Some of them added that she was not cleared. Instead, her punishment was reduced due to a disagreement between the ITIA and CAS on whether she had doped deliberately.

Another fan went a little further and asked her to retire. The fan further went on to say that this is pretty much embarrassing for the sport. Simona Halep has received several backlash for this comment.

One of them even went on to say that if he were Simona Halep’s agent then he would have urged her not to say that she’s “clear“. The fan said that although Halep likes to call herself innocent but still an illegal substance went into her body. He believes only Simona Halep has the accountability for that.

Some of them have even brought up an incident from the past when Simona Halep portrayed her disagreement when Maria Sharapova made a return to tennis after testing positive for a banned substance a few years ago. I think it’s definitely still my opinion.” She further went on to clarify that this is not directly intended towards Simona Halep, “But if someone purposely cheats, if someone has tested positive for doping. I understand why a tournament wants a big star in the tournament. But it’s my personal belief. And it’s not a knock on anyone. But it’s my personal belief that I don’t think people should be awarded wild cards afterwards.
