Now, the legendary American is setting new records with her venture capital firm, Serena Ventures. Appreciating the gigantic effort, Serena’s husband Alexis Ohanian drops an Instagram post to celebrate the success as he predicts a big future ahead.

“We celebrated the big Serena Ventures news last week and I finally got around to posting a photo. Much more to come, mama,” Alexis wrote. 

Serena Ventures was active in the investments since 2014. Recently, they raised an inaugural fund of $110 million to invest in companies that strive to make a difference in the lives of people across the globe.

Serena Williams and her firm reaching new heights

Serena Ventures started with 2 founding partners Serena Williams and Alison Rapaport Stillman. The financial expert Stillman previously worked with some prestigious firms like Wasserman, JP Morgan, and Melo7 Tech.

With nearly 60 diversified businesses already under the Serena Ventures umbrella, the team eyeing up further growth. They raised whopping $111 million inaugural funds and are said to be invested in diverse-minded founders. The fund’s partners include Capital G, LionTree, and Norwest.

Fascinated by technology, Serena opted for investments in tech firms. “I’ve always been fascinated with technology, and I’ve always loved how it really shapes our lives. When I met Alexis, that was our first conversation. That’s how we met. I was talking about investments,” Serena explained.

Alexis Ohanian supports his wife in every field

Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian is very supportive of his wife. He always spoke high for her and supported her in every activity. Alexis could be seen in Serena’s box during her matches on the WTA tour. 

Serena, along with elder sister Venus Williams now has their movie ‘King Richard’ nominated for Oscars. The whole Williams family might be present for the event.
