On the other hand, Jessica Pegula enjoyed a comfortable victory in her first match of the Mutua Madrid Open 2021. She crushed Sorana Cirstea in straight sets and began her clay-court campaign in style.

While Pegula will come prepared for the powerful forehand of Azarenka, the Belarusian will have to find a way to respond to the cheeky drops of Pegula. The American has been phenomenal with them in the recent past and will like to carry her momentum in her next match as well.
