Maria Sharapova hung her racket in the year 2020 and now is advancing to other phases of life. The Russian tennis ace after executing a marvelous career in tennis is gearing up for the role of mother.

Earlier this year she welcomed her first child with her fiance, Alexander Gilkes. They have named their baby boy Theodore and have become busy with taking utmost care of him since his arrival. However, amidst all that, Sharapova finally spared some time for herself.

Maria Sharapova hits the gym after childbirth

The five times Grand slam champion after welcoming her son in July finally got the permit to exercise a little. Well, of course, a little of her. As Sharapova can be seen pulling some ropes and doing some push up in the clip, she shared. “Today marks four weeks since giving birth and two weeks since I started moving my body again.” She wrote.

“I don’t think my body had ever felt as weak as it did the day after birth, so even these movements feel like I’ve come a long way.” She added. Sharapova made her relationship with the British Businessman public in the year 2018 and announced her engagement in December 2020.
