World No.7 Bianca Andreescu will be returning to the French Open after two years in 2021. She managed to reach the second round of the Grand Slam in 2019 and missed it last year due to an injury. She is exhilarated about making a comeback at the major and hopes that it’ll turn out to be an incredible experience for her.
In a recent interview, Bianca Andreescu revealed that clay is the best surface for a player like her. She also explained the reasons for the same and claimed that the surface suits her style of play.

“I think my game style really suits the clay, just because of the variety I have. Some of the heavy, high balls that I hit are obviously more effective on clay just because the ball bounces more,” said Andreescu in the interview.

Andreescu mentioned that she usually prefers to hit heavy and high balls. As a result, according to her, her shots become even more effective on clay because the surface offers extra bounce.

“And also my drop shots if I hit it right, and it’s been showing in practice and practice matches and all that. So, I’m super excited to bring that into the match court,” added the US Open 2019 champion.
Even though Bianca Andreescu plays well on clay, she has failed to impress her fans at the Roland Garros so far. However, they still have really high expectations from her and want her to lift her second Grand Slam title in Paris this year. Will the Canadian star be able to succeed at the French Open 2021?
