Former American tennis star Serena Williams‘ husband Alexis Ohanian is among the busiest dads. The 39-year-old has always been a loving father and there’s a special thing he does for Olympia. Making pancakes is a tradition that the Ohanian family follows. While Alexis’ dad did it for him, he does it for Olympia.

Anybody who follows Ohanian will be well aware of his pancake-making skills. He is creative and stylish. However, there’s someone out there in the market who thinks he can challenge Alexis in terms of pancake making. Here’s what happened.

Serena Williams’ husband got a competitor

We have time and again seen Ohanian experimenting with pancakes. The 39-year-old uses different color batters to draw pancakes like a painting. While the Reddit cofounder takes pride in his skills, another entrepreneur came up with an innovative idea of making pancakes.

Mayer Mizrachi took to his Twitter account and shared a picture of a pancake he made with a unique twist. It had marshmallows in it. “Ayo @alexisohanian you got competition,” he wrote in the caption.

It’s no surprise that Ohanian has already tried it earlier and came up with a suggestion. “Dude, I tried this and my marshmallows vaporized.”

Mayer acknowledged Ohanian’s observation and came up with another picture of his pancake where marshmallows seemed to be vaporized. “Learnt it the hard way,” Mayer replied.

There’s no doubt that Alexis Ohanian is the undisputed king of pancakes. However, it is heartening to see that other dads trying to catch up.

Ohanian and Serena give kitchen lessons to Olympia

After retirement, Serena is spending quality time with her family. It, in a way, is helpful for Olympia. While the five-year-old already has Ohanian at her service for delicious food, she is now learning to make it herself. Both Serena and Ohanian did their part in teaching Olympia the way into the kitchen.

First, it was Alexis who collaborated with the five-year-old to impart some of his pancake skills. Later, Serena turned coach cum critic to teach Olympia the essentials of baking.
