A big NFL fan at the time, Ohanian revealed the adorable story behind why he was wearing the wrong jersey for a school picture.

Serena Williams’ husband had different plans

Ohanian is following the tradition of sharing many details of his life on social media. In the throes of nostalgia, he shared a picture, which threw his followers off. The entrepreneur gave his followers a blast from the past. He showed a picture of something he wrote when he was in 5th grade. As per the picture, he wanted to make comic books and play in the NFL.

In the caption of the tweet, he said that he had it all figured out in 5th grade, even though his life didn’t transpire in that manner. In the picture he shared, he is wearing a Lakers shirt. However, he revealed that he wasn’t a fan of the team when he was a child. But his mom grabbed it for him because she liked how the colors looked on him. “I also was never a childhood @Lakers fan (sorry, LA), so I’m guessing my mom grabbed the sweatshirt at Ross not knowing and just because she liked the colors on me?” he told his followers.

While he never found his way into a football team, Ohanian never let go of his craze for the NFL.

Fans beg for Ohanian to buy an NFL team

Ohanian has retained his love for the NFL throughout his life. When he sold Reddit in 2006, he made sure to buy the best tickets for himself and his father. They supported Washington Commanders, but the franchise has been on a steady decline for a few years now. His disappointment kept rising, and he never bought tickets after 2018. He also called the Commanders a poorly run business.
